In the wake

The artwork I kölvattnet (In the wake) was exhibited at Sjöfartsmuseet (Maritime museum) in Gothenburg. The installation is based on recorded sound from Älvsnabben, the ferry that connects some of the central parts of Gothenburg.

The sound played in the speaker moves the water in the bowl and revives the wake from the ferry. When the sound eases out and the water is calm the recorded image of the wake appears in the bowl.
